Please find below planned Maintenance notification that will affect the PBX services held with Elite Group IT.

Hosted PBX Network

Reason For Change:

As part of Elite Group IT’s ongoing commitment to the delivery of resilient up to date Hosted Voice Services Engineers will be undertaking a swap on our Voice Platforms Firewalls. The Firewalls will be replaced in-between the time specified above, brought online and tested.


The PBX Systems will be offline during this Window. Whilst the window specifies 3 hours of downtime the swap of equipment is estimated to take up to 30 minutes. Once the equipment is replaced service is expected to be restored with the remaining 2.5 hours allocated for testing.

Roll out plan:

Within the given Time Frame the two High Availability devices will be replaced with new hardware.

Once Replaced, the Hardware will be brought back online where testing of the services will commence.

Once testing is confirmed as successful engineers will advise via our website notifications page.

Full test plans for the PBX hosts and the new Firewalls have been written and signed off. These will be used to check functionality of the systems.

Roll back plan:

A configuration backup/snap-shot will be taken prior to the work commencing. Should there be any issues arise from the upgrades/patches then the machine will be rolled back to its original state.
